Through Evja, I escape into the dark fantasy universe of the Evja Saga, which is deeply rooted in Norse mythology and draws parallels to our modern 21st-century life. Evja experiences the same triumphs and ruins in the book as I do in my real life. Simply put, she lives inside the Matrix and I do not...(I hope...) Just as my media output varies greatly, so do my sources of inspiration. However, my studies of the Sagas and my ancestry from the Viking age continue to dominate, conquer, and seduce my heart and spirit, much like the themes found in Fairytale metal.
